The Bayou
April 2025
Oil on Canvas
100.3 x 49.3cm
This may seem real, but it is not. This scene of a swamp doesn’t exist. It is a hyperreality. What is lurking under the water? Are there any more alligators? Don't worry. This one won't harm you; he’s just after marshmallows.
Waterfall at Mount Dore
November 2024
Oil on MDF Sheet
42 x 30.5cm
This is a transcription of the original "Waterfall at Mont Dore" by Achille Etna Michallon. Can you envision breathing before the mighty oak tree, soaking in the fresh air, listening to the waterfall roar behind you, and feeling the grass beneath your toes? You become one with nature when you immerse yourself in this painting.
My foe, the relentless passage of time, your essence belittles me. Your power's presence courses through me. The enchantment overcomes me. Your careful gradient through the earth's surface is a spellbinding rhythm. I yearn to feel your warmth once more as I contemplate my soul. We used to breathe as one, now I will not witness your end. I mourn the loss of nature's spirit core. These statues shelter me from the roar of Onguiaahra. I am small compared to the protectors, which tower over the landscape, But I am carved for a purpose. I am not ready to succumb to my torrid fate, By the ones whose surfaces are like sand, Whose lids like lighting, tools like leaves, Whose edges are like mountains, marks like stars, And a labyrinth of textures like you and me.
Windswept
March 2025
Oil on Wood
25.4 x 24.4cm
This windswept tree captured my attention. Its fascinating crooked branches and the visible effects of the wind's strength create a masterpiece sculpted by nature.
Forest Depths, near Chapels sunset by Fisherman’s Coast
December 2024
Acrylic on Canvas
30.5 x 24.1 cm
I have incorporated several Renaissance paintings into my work.
Wisp of the Wood I bide in the soul of the depths, I entangle my glow through the serpentine guardians, not to escape, but to rise, to behold, to know. The line is my boundary; I breathe their air, but we are not destined to co-exist as one, Sea monsters submerge in a blue moon, Their spirits rejoice in their liberty, I long to collide, to experience their wisdom, I elude my role, a moment of imperfection, I am the eternal flame through dawn, dusk and the midnight sky
The Oak and the Reed
May 2023
Oil on MDF Sheet
30.5 x 25.4cm
This is a transcription of the original "Waterfall at Mont Dore" by Achille Etna Michallon.
The winds fiercely attack the oak, symbolising nature’s conflict with itself. The reed, in contrast, harmonises with the wind; it can bend and adapt without destruction. However, the oak stands firm and cannot change its shape.
Winter Moss
April 2025
Oil on Wood
25.4 x 25.4
Is this a real place? It might be. Who knows? Don’t stand on the rocks, or you’ll slip. The water beneath splashes up, and it’s colder than ice.

What lies Within
November 2024
Oil on Canvas
30.4 x 25.4cm
My perspective of the Amish is a superficial, fragmented window, a glimpse into a hidden life, a scene created through my imagination. The broken collage composition is a metaphor for my lack of understanding.
As the Tree Watched
May 2025
Oil on Wood
25.4 x 25.4cm
As the tree observed quietly, she spoke softly to her foe about her desire to be in the pond below.

It’s unusual to see a painting of a branch on a log; wood is abundant everywhere.
